Track of the Week: Oct 22 – Oct 29

Yes, yes it’s that time of the week again where we delve in to the best and worst of what music had to offer us from Saturday to Saturday. If you don’t already know the rules for this award, then check out our first ever track of the week segment, there the rules are detailed pretty thoroughly. We will be making a page which details the rules slightly better so in the mean time, just use that as reference. Anyways let’s get back on to the topic at hand here, this week has been a pretty decent one for music. The last to weeks have been dire to say the least, but this week we’ve had some cracking releases. Again I’ve got to say the unsigned stuff is killing it at the moment; the big groups and big artists can’t keep up! So let’s cut the crap and present to you our tracks of the week!

Track of the Week:

Darnell – Dan James Griffin

Honourable Mentions:

Stranger – Amber Run

Here On Earth – Mango Retreat

Drug Dealer – Macklemore ft. Ariana Deboo

Four Arms – Youth Salute

Surrender – Lalah Hathaway ft. Pharrell Williams

Independent Track of the Week:

Darnell – Dan James Griffin

Worst Track of the Week:

Knockout – Bon Jovi

Honourable Mentions:

Love My Life – Robbie Williams

Sweet Lies – Wilkinson ft. Karen Harding

My Way – Calvin Harris

Death Of Me – Madilyn Bailey

Stuck In Your Head – I Prevail

Not Easy –  Alex Da Kid ft. X Ambassadors, Elle King & Wiz Khalifa ‘Not Easy’ Song Review

A pretty even week eh! For every great track, there was an absolute dud. Although the quality of music released this week is much higher than usual, the dirty end really gave their best shot to ruin things.
